2. Design Basis for High-Strength FRP Lightning Rod
a. Height is customizable according to the customer's specific requirements.
b. The thickness of the high-tensile glass fiber rod body is determined based on the varying basic wind pressures of different regions and the design requirements of the customer.
c. The connection of high-toughness glass fiber rod bodies is by plug-in, with the plug-in length determined based on varying basic wind pressures across different regions and the specific design requirements of the client.
3. Key features of high-tensile glass fiber lightning rod:
a. Does not interfere with the electromagnetic wave transmission of the next-generation Doppler weather radar; unaffected by any factors; other lightning rods do not possess this feature.
b. Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, high-strength, and wind-resistant.
c. Material is insulated, with temperature resistance from +155℃ to -55℃.
d. Compatible with pre-discharge optimized lightning arresters, featuring pre-discharge and fully active lightning attraction.
e. Wider coverage range under the same conditions than standard lightning rods.
f. Safe and reliable, easy to install. This series of lightning rods contains no radioactive elements, and the glass fiber itself is unaffected by lightning currents, offering a long service life.
g. Compatible with any type of surge protector (prevention, optimization, Franklin, etc.).
h. No daily maintenance required; simply conduct regular inspections before the rainy season each year.
4. Safety Precautions
Special bodies requiring protection should be placed within the lightning rod's protection range. It is strictly prohibited to hang any communication or lighting lines on the lightning rod. The down conductor must be connected to the main steel reinforcement of the building, and the ground resistance is generally <10Ω, installed for various departments and users.
