2. High-strength FRP lightning rod design basis:
a. Height can be customized according to the customer's actual requirements.
b. The thickness of the high-tensile fiberglass rod body is determined based on the varying basic wind pressures in different regions and the design requirements of the customer.
c. The connection of the high-strength glass fiber rod body is by plug-in, with the plug-in length determined based on varying basic wind pressures in different regions and the design requirements of the customer.
3. Key Features of High-Strength FRP Lightning Rod:
a. Unaffected by the electromagnetic transmission of the next-generation Doppler weather radar; unaffected by any factors; other lightning rods do not possess this characteristic.
b. Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, high-strength, and wind-resistant.
c. Material is insulated, with temperature resistance from +155℃ to -55℃.
d. Compatible with pre-discharge lightning arrestor for optimized lightning protection, featuring pre-discharge and fully active lightning induction.
e. Offers wider lightning rod coverage under the same conditions.
f. Safe and reliable, easy to install. This series of lightning rods contains no radioactive elements, and the glass fiber itself is unaffected by lightning currents, offering a long service life.
g. Compatible with any type of surge protector (for power prevention, optimization, Franklin, etc.).
h. No daily maintenance required; just schedule regular inspections before the rainy season each year.
4. Safety Precautions
Special bodies requiring protection should be within the lightning rod's protection range. It is strictly forbidden to hang any communication or lighting lines on the lightning rod. The down conductor must be connected to the main steel reinforcement of the building, the ground resistance should generally be less than 10Ω, and installation should be carried out for different departments and users.
