Cement pipes come with socket and spigot joints, mainly used for underground infrastructure. What are the differences between them? Let me introduce their distinctions.
The pipe ends with cement sockets and bell mouth have different sizes on each side.
The pipeline has different sizes on both ends. This type of pipeline is designed for connecting pipes or fittings, or for branching pipelines. Both ends of the pipeline are formed into a socket and a spigot (the spigot is generally not custom-made), where the spigot is inserted into the socket, and then the joint is sealed.
The pipe ends are of equal size on both sides of the企口 pipeline. The pipeline is connected using a tenon at one end that fits into a mortise at the other end of the pipe. This connection method allows for the transfer of loads between pipe components, enhancing sealing performance. Generally, a sliding rubber ring is used for sealing and preventing water leakage.
