Based on the capacity of the storage tank, calculate the weight of water, and prepare the appropriate amount of dust suppressant (e.g., for a 10-ton storage tank, prepare 100 kg of dust suppressant). Begin by filling the tank with water, and while adding water, uniformly introduce the dust suppressant. Activate the water recirculation system to evenly disperse the dust suppressant in the water. Once the water reaches capacity, continue to mix thoroughly for use. The mixing time should commence from the completion of the addition and exceed 30 minutes.
After preparing the dust suppressant solution, open the valve and pump beneath the gantry where the coal trains pass. Begin spraying at a rate of no less than 2.2 liters per square meter. Once the train has passed, close the pump and valve, and the operation is complete.
