How to Use Foot Switches

Foot switches are designed to control circuit connectivity through foot踩 or step, serving as a substitute for hand operation in situations where hands cannot reach. Widely used in medical equipment, stamping machines, welding equipment, textile machinery, and printing machinery, foot switches are instrumental in the electronics industry as well. Essentially, a simple foot switch incorporates an internal limit switch that activates upon receiving a signal from the foot. However, in the welding field, foot switches also function to control the output current size. Such foot switches can be categorized into two types: 1. Mechanical foot switches; 2. Inductive foot switches. Mechanical foot switches use traditional gear and rack transmission, while inductive switches operate through electromagnetic induction principles.

When using foot switches, please note the following: Pay attention to the product's rated load based on the nature of the load and the current value. During handling and movement, be mindful of potential short-circuit and open-circuit issues with internal wiring. When using in areas with excessive water, oil, dust, etc., be aware of the product's protection rating. Overpressure and impact are direct causes of product damage; please use with caution.
