Working Principle
Electromagnetic flowmeters measure flow based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. Their advantages include minimal pressure loss and a wide flow measurement range. The ratio of high flow to low flow is typically 20:1 or more, and they can measure pipe diameters from DN10 to DN2000. The output signal is linear with the measured flow, offering high accuracy. They can measure fluid flow rates in acidic, alkaline, saline solutions, water, wastewater, corrosive liquids, as well as slurries, slimes, and pulp, with conductivity of ≥5μs/cm. They are widely used in various industries such as chemicals, metallurgy, light industry, papermaking, environmental protection, food, domestic wastewater, industrial wastewater, cooling water, waterworks, and in fields such as municipal management, water conservancy construction, river dredging, and building water supply metering.
