 Laser InterferometerHigh-speed and accuracy in measurement are common standards for calibrating the precision and linear indicators of various positioning equipment such as CNC machine tools and coordinate measuring machines. Mastering some techniques of laser interferometers can greatly enhance the efficiency of measurement work.

Operation Method:

A laser interference system emits a single-frequency light beam, which is split into two beams upon entering an interference mirror and then reflected back to the splitting mirror, returning to the laser interference. Destructive interference and constructive interference can be stably measured under different path length differences. It measures the variable generated by the difference between two path length differences.


A laser beam generated from a mixed gas is produced under a high-voltage connection between the anode and cathode, amplified by laser intensity, and transmitted to the output laser. By controlling the length of the heating tube, the laser frequency stability is maintained at ±0.05ppm, ensuring stable output at this point, making laser interference measurement achievable. Currently, most modern displacement interferometers utilize helium-neon lasers with a wavelength of 633 nanometers.


Parameters such as laser frequency, power, stability, reliability, beam quality, and lifespan are closely related to the performance of laser interferometers. Spectra are one of the fundamental parameters of laser interferometers, and the precision and stability of their frequency (wavelength) ensure the accuracy of their measurements.

Applicable:

Positional accuracy detection and automatic compensation enable precision measurements such as positioning, repositioning, and displacement for CNC machine tools.

2. The laser interferometer can simultaneously measure the positioning accuracy of the axis movement in a gantry-type large-scale CNC machine tool, utilizing dual servo drives.

3. CNC machine tool dynamic performance testing software, machine tool vibration testing and analysis (FFT), ball screw dynamic characteristic analysis, servo drive system response characteristic analysis, guide rail motion characteristic analysis, etc.

4. Applicable to linear, vertical, oblique, parallel, and parallelism.
