Supply Carbon Tape

Carbon fiber tape refers to a ribbon made of carbon fiber, commonly abbreviated as carbon tape. It is used for wrapping composite materials, reinforcing composite materials by extrusion and stretching, heating elements, conductive materials, and semiconductor materials, among others.

A variety of specifications and types are available, with diverse performance characteristics. They exhibit excellent heat resistance, semiconductor properties, conductivity, and chemical resistance. The mechanical properties are related to the type of carbon fiber used and the weaving method.

Manufacturing primarily uses plain weave, but due to the high static electricity during the weaving process, it can be pre-treated with water or antistatic agents. Advanced composite materials using carbon fiber strips are mainly unidirectional carbon fiber strips and prepreg materials. The method involves unidirectional arrangement of carbon fibers, coated with resin. Some also use various unidirectional carbon fiber fabrics cut into narrow strips, or plain weave carbon fiber strips that are then coated and compounded with resin. The carbon fiber rope used for sealing materials is also a type of strip, as is the carbon fiber sleeve.
