Mixed Base Carbon Tape

Carbon fiber tape refers to a ribbon made of carbon fiber, abbreviated as carbon tape. It is used for wrapping composite materials, enhancing composite materials via extrusion and stretching, heating elements, conductive materials, and semiconductor materials, among others.

Variety of specifications and types with different performance, featuring excellent heat resistance, semiconductor properties, electrical conductivity, and chemical resistance. The mechanical properties are related to the carbon fiber used and the weaving method.

The manufacturing process primarily employs plain weave, but due to the static electricity during weaving, it can be pre-treated with water or anti-static agents. Advanced composite materials using carbon fiber tapes are mainly unidirectional carbon fiber tapes and pre-impregnated materials. The method involves unidirectional arrangement of carbon fibers, coated with resin. Some also use various unidirectional carbon fiber fabrics cut into narrow strips, or plain weave carbon fiber tapes that are then coated and compounded. As for the carbon fiber packing for sealing materials, it is made of carbon fiber rope, which is also a type of tape. Carbon fiber sleeves are another type of tape.
