Carbon Tape - Resin-Based Carbon Tape

Carbon fiber tape refers to a strip made of carbon fiber, commonly abbreviated as carbon tape. It is used for wrapping composite materials, enhancing composite materials via extrusion and stretching methods, heating elements, conductive materials, and semiconductor materials, among others.

Variety of specifications and types with different performance, excellent heat resistance, semiconductor properties, conductivity, and chemical resistance. Mechanical properties are related to the carbon wire used and the weaving method.

The manufacturing process primarily employs plain weaving, but due to the high static electricity during weaving, it can be pre-treated with water or antistatic agents. Advanced composite materials using carbon fiber strips are mainly unidirectional carbon fiber strips and prepregs, with the method being unidirectional carbon fiber arrangement, coated with resin. Some also use various unidirectional carbon fiber fabrics cut into narrow strips, or plain woven carbon fiber strips that are then coated and compounded. The carbon fiber rope gaskets used for sealing materials are also a type of strip, as are the carbon fiber sleeves.
