PVC Labels

PVC pressure-sensitive labels are a new direction in the printing industry, with ever-widening applications. They can be used on consumer goods like hair care product labels and advertising labels; they're also suitable for industrial uses such as battery labels, wire labels, tire labels, and warning labels. On the surface, the structure of PVC pressure-sensitive printing materials consists of three parts: the surface material, adhesive, and backing paper. However, as personnel introduce, to ensure quality, it also includes back printing and silicon coating.

The surface coating of the PVC self-adhesive printing is actually a protective layer, designed to enhance ink acceptance and ease of printing. Its purpose is to prevent soiling, increase ink adhesion, and prevent the print graphics from peeling off. The silicone coating involves applying a layer of silicone oil on the base paper surface, making it a very smooth and low-surface-tension surface to prevent adhesive from sticking to the base paper.

The backing paper for PVC self-adhesive printing is used to protect the adhesive on the back of the face material, support the face material, and enable it to be die-cut, waste-removed, and labeled on labeling machines. As for the reverse printing, its purpose is to print the manufacturer's registered trademark or pattern on the back of the backing paper, serving as a form of promotion and anti-counterfeiting.

The face material is the surface that receives the printed graphics and the back side accepts the adhesive, ultimately being applied to the item to be adhered. The purpose of applying the base coat is to protect the face material and prevent the adhesive from渗透. It increases the opacity of the fabric; enhances the bond strength between the adhesive and the face material; and prevents plastic face material plasticizers from渗透 into the adhesive, affecting its adhesive properties and reducing the label's bond strength, causing the label to peel off.

Next is the adhesive for PVC self-adhesive label printing. The adhesive comes in various formulations, suitable for different substrates and applications. It acts as the bonding material between the self-adhesive label material and the bonding base. It is also a key component in PVC self-adhesive printing materials and is crucial in label application technology.
