The purpose of applying the primer is to protect the face material and prevent adhesive penetration. It increases the opacity of the fabric; enhances the bonding strength between the adhesive and the face material; and prevents plastic face material plasticizers from seeping into the adhesive, affecting its adhesive properties and reducing the bonding strength of the label, causing it to peel off.
