PVC self-adhesive labels represent a new direction in the printing industry, with their application becoming increasingly widespread. These labels can be used on consumer products such as hair care product labels, advertising labels, and so on; they are also suitable for industrial applications, like battery labels, wire labels, tire labels, and warning labels. On the surface, the structure of PVC self-adhesive printing materials consists of three parts: the surface material, adhesive, and backing paper. The surface coating of PVC sticker printing is actually a protective layer, designed to enhance the ink reception and printing ease, aiming to prevent soiling, increase ink adhesion, and prevent the detachment of printed images. The silicon coating involves applying a layer of silicone oil on the base paper, creating a very smooth and low-surface-tension surface. This serves to prevent the adhesive from bonding to the base paper.

The backing paper for PVC self-adhesive printing is designed to protect the adhesive on the backside of the face material, support the face material, and enable it to undergo die-cutting, waste trimming, and labeling on labeling machines. As for the reverse printing, it serves to print the manufacturer's registered trademark or design on the back of the backing paper, serving both promotional and anti-counterfeiting purposes.

The face material is the surface that receives the printed graphics and the backside that accepts the adhesive, ultimately applied to the item to be adhered. The purpose of the priming layer is to protect the face material and prevent the adhesive from seeping in. It enhances the opacity of the fabric; increases the bonding strength between the adhesive and the face material; and prevents plastic face materials' plasticizers from渗透 into the adhesive, affecting its adhesive properties and reducing the label's bonding strength, leading to label detachment.

Next is the adhesive for PVC pressure-sensitive label printing. There are various formulations to suit different substrates and applications. It acts as the bonding material between the pressure-sensitive label material and the base material, serving as the connecting element. It is also a key component in PVC pressure-sensitive label materials, pivotal in label application technology.
