PP Spray Tower Instruction Manual
1. PP Spray Tower Composition, Features, and Application Range
PP spray towers consist of the shell, circulating water tank, inlet section, spray layer, packing layer, demisting layer, outlet cone cap, and inspection holes. Made of PP material, they offer UV resistance and aging resistance. For the treatment of inorganic waste gas, the liquid absorption and neutralization method is commonly used. This process and product feature simple structure, low energy consumption, high purification efficiency, and wide applicability. The packing uses high-efficiency, low-resistance Raschig rings, Pall rings, etc., and the spray layer is assembled with sufficient atomizing nozzles. The nozzles are designed for easy disassembly, facilitating cleaning of scale and blockages, and easy maintenance and replacement.
Suitable for the treatment of continuous and intermittent emissions of waste gas; simple in process, easy in management, operation, and maintenance without affecting the workshop's production; wide application range, capable of purifying multiple inorganic waste gases, water-soluble waste gases, and dust particle-containing gases simultaneously; low pressure drop, high operational flexibility, and excellent demisting performance.
Section 2: Working Principle of PP Spray Tower
Waste gas is introduced into the purification tower through the air duct, where the absorbent liquid, after being pressurized by a pump at the bottom, is sprayed down from the top. It passes through the packing layer, where the waste gas and absorbent liquid are in full contact, leading to a gas-liquid phase absorption and acid-base neutralization reaction. Finally, it returns to the bottom of the tower for recirculation. After purification, the waste gas is then dehumidified and defogged by a demister plate before being discharged into the atmosphere by a fan.

【Operation Instructions】
1. Pre-test Preparation Work:
Before initiating this system, a comprehensive check is required. Verify and confirm each item against the installation diagram, ensure accuracy, and clear all visible debris within the system.
(2) Prior to initiating this system, it is necessary to conduct corresponding inspections of all pipelines, equipment, and other facilities within the system to ensure their performance is good and meets testing requirements.
(3) Prior to initiating this system, it must be confirmed that the power, water supply, and drainage systems compatible with this system are functioning properly and fully meet the requirements for the system's testing operation.
2. Daily startup procedures:
Power on and sequentially start the circulating pump and fan. Check for any abnormal conditions in the operating indicator lights.
(2) After completing the operation, sequentially turn off the fans and the circulating water pump.
3. Routine Maintenance Matters:
(1) Conduct a weekly check of the storage tank's liquid level to maintain proper liquid height.
(2) In case the automatic topping-up system or non-existent system for the exhaust tower's liquid level control fails, disconnect the power and restart. If the system still does not return to normal after a restart, inspect for loose connections at all circuit points and ensure that the circulating pump or dosing unit is operating properly.
(3) Regularly inspect the operation of the exhaust fan.
(4) Daily operation and maintenance of the waste gas purification tower are recommended to be handled by a designated person.
(5) Repairs to purification tower equipment must not be performed while in operation.
