How to install a linear drain:
1. Determine the trench excavation dimensions
The trench excavation dimensions are determined based on the finished trench's outer diameter and load-bearing requirements. The higher the load-bearing grade, the thicker the concrete requirements at the S and H positions.
2. Concrete Structure
The concrete structure in Section H, based on load-bearing requirements: for low load-bearing requirements, a 30-50mm thick cushion layer can be directly applied, with brick added on top. If conditions are not met, concrete can be used directly. For Section S, the thickness of 30-50mm is determined specifically based on the local geographical environment. When the load-bearing grade reaches E600-F900 (suitable for heavy trucks), Section H requires the use of 8mm steel bars to form a 15cm x 15cm grid reinforcement, while Section S must be no less than 100mm.
3. Excavation layout
Sinks are designed with male and female slots (one protruding and one concave) for direct mating assembly. The seam treatment varies according to the specific environmental conditions.
A. Indoor: Generally requires waterproofing treatment; apply a layer of waterproofing at positions S and H, and seal the sink joints with adhesive (waterproof adhesive, marble adhesive, structural adhesive, etc. for various stone adhesives are acceptable).
B. Outdoor: Generally not treated, directly assembled; seams not treated, especially for large quantities of work.
C. If the wastewater is pollutants, it requires waterproof treatment to prevent leakage.
4. Linear Cover Installation:
A. The linear cover is directly placed over the sink. The square tube at the bottom of the cover is securely locked into the槽 in the middle of the sink without any additional treatment. Simply place the cover on top. If stone covering is required on the cover,砂浆 or adhesive should be applied between the stone and the cover. The砂浆 thickness is recommended to be no less than 3mm, depending on the stone thickness; thicker stone requires thicker砂浆. Adjust the砂浆 thickness according to the on-site construction.
B. The gap mouth should be positioned to sink about 3mm to facilitate drainage, but the height should not exceed the finished surface height of the ground.
