The wavy edge conveyor belt, also known as the steep incline edge conveyor belt or skirted belt, is one of the specialized conveyor belt products produced by Qingdao Kaيتong Co., Ltd. It consists of three parts: the base belt, edge guard, and cross panel.
The side flanges prevent material from slipping and spilling. To facilitate the bypass of the roller, the side flanges are designed in a wavy pattern; the wavy side flange conveyor crossbeam serves to support the material, and T-type or TC-type are used to achieve large-angle conveying.
The wave edge conveyor belt's side flanges and cross plates are connected to the base belt using a secondary vulcanization method, with the side flange height ranging from 60 to 500mm.
The base tape is composed of four parts: upper covering胶, lower covering胶, core, and transverse rigid layer. The thickness of the upper covering胶 is generally 3-6mm; the thickness of the lower covering胶 is typically 1.5-4.5mm. The core material withstands tension and can be cotton duck (CC), nylon duck (NN), polyester duck (EP), or steel wire core (ST). To enhance the transverse rigidity of the base tape, a special reinforcing layer is added on top of the core, known as the transverse rigid layer. The width specifications of the base tape are the same as those of ordinary tape, conforming to the standards of GB7984-2001.
