The cam rollers and indexing cam directly complete the cutting action. The output turret, an attaching bearing component on the output shaft, transmits motion by driving cam rollers radially embedded within it through the indexing cam. The accuracy of the output turret is a critical factor in maintaining the precision of the cam cutter.
