Therefore, within this self-locking structure, there is no phenomenon of overtravel. The term "overtravel" refers to the situation where the separator's output shaft exceeds the position it should stop at when stationary. Considering the internal structure of the separator analyzed above, there is no overtravel within the range of the stationary angle, which is the self-locking area of the separator. However, general overtravel is often a result of the separator's inaccurate positioning. Most often, this is caused by the cam not reaching the stationary position. In such cases, it is necessary to confirm whether the separator's induction system is aligned with the separator's input cam's cutting angle and stationary angle. At the stationary angle position of the separator, the signal from the induction cam should correctly convey the working state of the input cam. Then, confirm whether the separator's induction plate can correctly transmit PLC signals. A significant reason for the separator's stopping overtravel is incorrect setting of the stationary angle. The mechanical motion characteristics of the separator determine that the point of action between movement and stop can cause overtravel during the transition from stationary to movement or from movement to stationary, which is due to mechanical inertia. However, such errors are not significant, and during use, specific judgments can be made based on the situation.
