A pattern involves adding silicon carbide during the casting process of glass fiber reinforced plastic grating to enhance the wear-resistant layer, which is typically evenly distributed in a sieve-like pattern.

Another option involves laying a layer of quartz sand, approximately 4mm thick, on the outer surface of the glass fiber reinforced plastic grid. This is bonded using a fixed adhesive. This type of application generally significantly enhances the anti-slip capability and has a longer service life.
