Installation Precautions for Chemical Centrifugal Pumps

Key equipment precautions for chemical centrifugal pumps include:

1. The concrete foundation has been prepared according to the basic dimensions, and the foot bolts for the chemical centrifugal pump have been embedded simultaneously.

2. Place the chemical centrifugal pump on the base, inserting shock-absorbing pads between the bottom plate and the base. Adjust the shock-absorbing pads to ensure the chemical centrifugal pump is level. Once aligned, tighten the foot bolts. Before the equipment, inspect the chemical centrifugal pump and motor, ensuring each part is intact and free of debris inside the centrifugal pump.

3. To prevent debris from entering the chemical centrifugal pump, a filter should be installed at the inlet, with a filtration area that is 3 to 4 times greater than the cross-sectional area of the pipeline.

4. It is necessary to install a check valve on the outlet pipeline of the chemical centrifugal pump to prevent water hammer damage from sudden shutdown. Both the inlet and outlet pipelines of the chemical centrifugal pump should be equipped with supports and should not be used to bear the load. The pipe diameters at the inlets and outlets should match the diameters of the chemical centrifugal pump's inlets and outlets.

5. When the viscosity of the liquid being pumped by chemical centrifugal pumps is too high, both the pump's function and power will change. For detailed information, please contact us. Magnetic chemical centrifugal pumps cannot handle liquids containing particles and those that are prone to crystallization. They are not allowed to operate continuously at closed discharge outlets and require maintaining a low flow rate.

6. When the liquid temperature is too high, it is necessary to adopt cooling measures for the mechanical seal of the chemical industry centrifugal pump to prevent deformation of the seal and cracking of the static ring. After the chemical pump equipment is completed, it is finally hand-tumbled to check for any rubbing phenomena. If the tumbling is smooth and even, it indicates that the equipment is complete.
