The pump selection style and performance meet the requirements of process parameters such as flow rate, head, pressure, temperature, NPSH (Net Positive Suction Head), and suction depth.
2. Pumps transporting flammable, explosive, toxic, or valuable mediums must meet medium-specific requirements, necessitating reliable shaft seals or the use of leak-free pumps, such as magnetic drive pumps (with no shaft seals, using an isolated magnetic indirect drive). For pumps handling corrosive mediums, the flow components must be made of corrosion-resistant materials, such as fluoroplastic corrosion-resistant pumps. For pumps conveying particulate mediums, the flow components should be made of wear-resistant materials, and clean liquid flushing may be used for the shaft seals if necessary.
3. The mechanical requirements are for high reliability, low noise, and minimal vibration.
4. Accurately calculate the investment cost of pump procurement; see: How to Properly Calculate the Investment Cost of Pump Procurement. Below is a basic pump selection reference.
5. When transporting highly corrosive media (such as "concentrated sulfuric acid, concentrated nitric acid"), flammable and explosive media, or when the environment must be pollution-free: magnetic pumps can be used, such as "CQB series magnetic pumps, IMD series magnetic pumps." If self-priming is required, choose the FZB fluoroplastic self-priming pump liquid immersion corrosion-proof pump.
6. The IHF and FSB centrifugal pumps feature high speed, compact size, lightweight, high efficiency, large flow rate, simple structure, pulse-free fluid delivery, stable performance, ease of operation, and convenient maintenance. If there are no special requirements for the operating conditions, centrifugal pumps are a good choice.
7. For pumps handling chemical mediums containing solid particles and requiring wear-resistant materials for flow components, the UHB mortar pump is an ideal choice. The material of the UHB corrosion and wear-resistant mortar pump is a high-strength new engineering plastic, which is a modified ultra-high molecular weight (over 5 million) polyethylene. In plastics, it boasts excellent wear resistance; experimental comparisons show that its wear resistance is far superior to that of stainless steel in terms of corrosion resistance, impact resistance, and creep resistance (comparable to F4), as well as unique non-adhesive properties.
