The DYT and DYTB series electro-hydraulic push rods are suitable for reciprocating linear (or reciprocating rotational) motion, and can be used in applications where lifting, lowering, or clamping workpieces is required, as well as in remote and high-altitude hazardous areas. They can also be networked with computers for centralized (programmed) control. They are now widely used in industries such as metallurgy, mining, coal, electricity, machinery, grain, cement, chemicals, water conservancy, and transportation, serving as an indispensable general-purpose power source.

Principles and Functions:

1. Working Principle: The electro-hydraulic actuator is powered by an electric motor, which, through forward (or reverse) rotation, drives hydraulic oil to be output as pressure oil through a bidirectional gear pump. The oil then travels through an integrated oil block to the working cylinder, thereby realizing the reciprocating motion of the piston rod.

2. Overload Automatic Protection Function: During the operation of the electro-hydraulic actuator, if the external force on the piston rod exceeds the rated output force or the piston reaches the end position, the motor continues to rotate. At this point, the oil pressure in the oil circuit increases to the set pressure, and the overflow valve rapidly and accurately overflows, thereby achieving automatic overload protection. Although the motor is rotating, it will never be burnt out.

3. Self-locking Function: The hydraulic push rod's oil circuit integrated block is designed with a pressure self-locking mechanism. Once the motor stops rotating, the piston rod immediately remains at a specific position, and the pressure oil remains in a pressure-holding state.

4. Speed can be infinitely adjusted within the designated speed range as per customer requirements.

5. Can be infinitely adjusted for thrust and pull force within the designated output force range, as per customer requirements.

6. Can be adjusted infinitely within the designated travel range as per customer requirements.

Comparison with Similar Products

Electro-hydraulic push rods offer the following advantages compared to electric push rods, electric actuators, hydraulic cylinders, and pneumatic cylinders:

1. Features reliable overload automatic protection, allowing the motor to operate normally even under overload or at the end of travel, without damaging other components. Electric actuators and electric drives cannot compare.

2. Electro-hydraulic push rods can be started under load, whereas it is difficult for electric push rods and electric actuators to do so.

6. The electro-hydraulic push rod features an integrated, fully enclosed mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic structure. The working oil circuit circulates within a pressure-free enclosed steel cylinder, boasting a compact design, no oil leakage, and ease of installation and maintenance. It resists dust and water in harsh environments, and prevents internal rusting, offering a longer service life than pneumatic cylinders, electric push rods, and electric actuators.

7. Low investment required. Air cylinders need to be built with expensive air compressor stations, where the air pressure pipeline is prone to leakage, resulting in unstable pressure and high noise levels; hydraulic cylinders require a hydraulic station, whereas electro-hydraulic push rods can be used simply by connecting to the power source.

8. Easy to repair. In special cases, the electro-hydraulic actuator only requires replacement, whereas the hydraulic cylinder necessitates a thorough investigation of the fault before meticulous repair can be conducted, which can disrupt the normal operation of the entire system.
