The DYT, DYTB series electro-hydraulic push rods are suitable for reciprocating linear (or oscillating rotation at a certain angle) movements. They can be used in applications for lifting, lowering, or clamping workpieces, as well as in remote and high-altitude hazardous areas. They can also be connected to computers for centralized (programmed) control. They are now widely used in industries such as metallurgy, mining, coal, electricity, machinery, grain, cement, chemicals, water conservancy, and transportation, and are an indispensable general-purpose power source.

Principles and Functions:

1. Principle of Operation: The electro-hydraulic push rod is powered by an electric motor, which, upon rotating in either direction, drives the hydraulic oil to be output as pressure oil through a bidirectional gear pump. The oil then flows through an integrated oil circuit block to the working cylinder, thereby achieving reciprocating motion of the piston rod.

2. Overload Automatic Protection Function: During the operation of the electro-hydraulic actuator, if the external force on the piston rod exceeds the rated output force or the piston reaches the end position, and the motor continues to rotate, the oil pressure in the circuit will rise to the set pressure. The overflow valve will then quickly and accurately overflow, achieving overload automatic protection. Although the motor is rotating, it will never be damaged.

3. Locking Function: The oil circuit module of the electro-hydraulic push rod is equipped with a pressure self-locking mechanism. Once the motor stops rotating, the piston rod immediately remains at a specific position, and the pressure oil remains in a pressure-holding state.

4. Speed can be infinitely adjusted within the designated speed range according to customer requirements.

5. Force can be infinitely adjusted within the designated output range, as per customer requirements.

6. Can be infinitely adjusted within the designated travel range according to customer requirements.

Comparison with Similar Products

The electro-hydraulic push rod has the following advantages compared to electric push rods, electric actuators, hydraulic cylinders, and pneumatic cylinders:

6. The electro-hydraulic push rod features an integrated, fully enclosed mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic structure. The working oil circuit circulates within a pressure-free, sealed steel cylinder, offering a compact design, no oil leakage, and ease of installation and maintenance. It resists dust and water in harsh environments and prevents internal corrosion, resulting in a longer service life compared to cylinders, electric push rods, and electric actuators.

7. Low investment required. Air cylinders need to be built with expensive air compressor stations, where air pressure pipes are prone to leakage, resulting in unstable pressure and high noise levels; hydraulic cylinders require a hydraulic station, whereas electro-hydraulic actuators can be used simply by connecting to power.

8. Easy to maintain. In special cases, the electro-hydraulic actuator can simply be replaced, whereas the hydraulic cylinder requires a thorough investigation of the fault cause before meticulous repair, which can affect the normal operation of the entire work.
