Yangzhou Kaimaisi Hydraulic Equipment Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturer of electro-hydraulic actuators, electric actuators, and hydraulic alignment devices.
Today, we focus on introducing what a screw jack is and how it operates. The screw jack is widely used in industries such as machinery, metallurgy, construction, chemicals, logistics, ports, and light industrial machinery, making its application extremely versatile.
To ensure precise control over the height adjustments, whether for lifting or advancing, the system can be powered directly by an electric motor or other means, or operated manually, eliminating concerns about usability issues.
The screw jack is composed of worm gears and worm screws, utilizing the worm to drive the worm gear to achieve a certain speed reduction ratio. The turbine drives the screw to perform linear motion (screw mode), or the turbine drives the screw to rotate, with the nut performing linear motion (nut mode).
The lifting speed is equal to the worm input speed divided by the reduction ratio of the worm and worm gear, then multiplied by the pitch of the lifting screw. Due to its structural nature, this screw lifting machine typically uses grease lubrication, with some series utilizing oil lubrication. The oil-lubricated series boasts advantages of longer lifespan and greater stability in operation compared to the grease-lubricated ones.
