The KJG-03 series products are a new generation of hard interlock mechanisms developed to meet the five-protection requirements for electrical operation equipment. Unlike conventional mechanisms that use pull-cord interlocks and soft structures for the cabinet's lower door opening and closing, this product employs a three-bar mechanical hard interlock method for the cabinet's lower door. The "center lock bar" of the lower door is directly linked to the grounding operation shaft, and the "side lock bars" are directly linked to the upper door lock plate. It is necessary to open the upper door lock well and push the lock plate up while ensuring a reliable grounding of the main circuit to simultaneously remove all three lower door lock bars. The lower door can only be opened when all three lock bars are simultaneously removed from the lock holes. This effectively ensures the safety and reliability of the lower door operation against errors.
User Instructions
Closing operation:
The mechanism is mounted and secured on the cabinet. Insert the mechanism handle into the operating shaft located at the top of the mechanism, rotate the handle clockwise approximately 90°. As the mechanism's coiled spring stores energy in the positive direction until reaching the release point, it automatically releases the energy, which then drives the isolating switch to complete the closing action. In the closed position, due to the anti-misoperation interlock, grounding closure cannot be operated.
Circuit Breaker Operation:
Insert the handle sleeve onto the operating shaft located at the top of the mechanism, rotate the handle counterclockwise approximately 90 degrees. The mechanism's coiled spring stores energy in the opposite direction until it reaches the release point, at which time it automatically releases energy, propelling the disconnect switch to complete the opening action.
Grounding and Switching-On/Switching-Off
Grounding Closing: When the mechanism is in the open position, insert the mechanism handle into the grounding operation shaft at the bottom of the mechanism, rotate clockwise approximately 90 degrees. The grounding energy storage spring releases its energy instantaneously when it passes the midpoint, pushing the grounding switch to complete the grounding closing. At this point, the mechanism interlock is engaged, preventing the main circuit from being closed.
Grounding Disconnect: Insert the mechanism handle into the grounding operation shaft at the bottom of the mechanism, rotate counterclockwise approximately 90°. The energy stored in the accumulator spring is released instantaneously when it passes the midpoint, pushing the grounding switch to complete the grounding disconnect. At this point, the mechanism interlock is in the open position, allowing for operation of the main circuit's closing and opening.
