The KJG-03 series products are a new generation of hard interlock mechanisms developed to meet the five-protection requirements for electrical operation equipment. Unlike conventional mechanisms that use pull-cord interlocks and soft structures for the cabinet's lower door opening and closing, this product employs a three-bar mechanical hard interlock method for the cabinet's lower door. The "center lock bar" of the lower door is directly linked to the grounding operation shaft, and the "side lock bars" are directly linked to the upper door lock plate. It is necessary to open the upper door lock well and push the lock plate up while ensuring a reliable grounding of the main circuit to simultaneously remove all three lower door lock bars. The lower door can only be opened when all three lock bars are simultaneously removed from the lock holes. This effectively ensures the safety and reliability of the lower door operation against errors.
User Manual
Closing operation:
The mechanism is mounted and secured on the shelf. Insert the handle into the operating shaft located on the upper part of the mechanism, rotate the handle clockwise by approximately 90°. As the mechanism's coiled spring builds up tension to the release point, it automatically releases energy, which drives the isolator switch to close. In the closed state, due to anti-misoperation interlock, grounding operation is not possible.
Circuit Breaker Operation:
Insert the handle sleeve onto the operating shaft located at the top of the mechanism, rotate the handle counterclockwise approximately 90 degrees. The mechanism's coiled spring will automatically release energy when it reverses to the power release point, propelling the isolating switch to complete the disconnection action.
Grounding and Switching-On/Switching-Off
Grounding Closing: While the mechanism is in the open position, insert the handle into the grounding operation shaft located below the mechanism. Rotate clockwise approximately 90 degrees. Upon the grounding spring reaching the midpoint of its tension, it releases energy instantly to close the grounding switch, at which point the mechanism interlock locks, preventing the main circuit from being closed.
Grounding Disconnect: Insert the mechanism handle into the grounding operation shaft at the bottom of the mechanism, rotate counterclockwise approximately 90°. The grounding energy accumulator releases instantly when it reaches the midpoint, pushing the grounding switch to complete the grounding disconnect. At this point, the mechanism interlock is in the open position, allowing for closing and opening operations on the main circuit.
