KJFD-03/MX Intelligent Electric Operation Solution, utilizing MCU chip integrated circuit for intelligent judgment of the closing/opening status of the load switch, performs electric operations on the mechanism according to customer instructions, enabling local closing/opening and remote closing/opening functions. It features protection for the motor against overcurrent or jamming overload, ensuring the safety of critical components of the mechanism. The controller has a function to signal equipment faults, greatly facilitating daily maintenance.

KJFD-03/NX Standard Electric Operation Plan, featuring PCB terminal integration and electric operation of mechanisms achieved through relay contacts within the controller. It lacks motor protection and fault alert features, classifying it as an economical electric operation solution.

This series of products is factory-shipped after passing full inspection, in compliance with the relevant requirements of GB 3804-2004 "3.6KV-40 5KV AC High Voltage Load Break Switches", GB 3906-2006 "3.6KV-40.5KV AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear and Control Gear", and "High Voltage AC Load Break Switch-Fuse Combination Appliances".

Operation Instructions

Closing operation:

Manual Closing: The mechanism is mounted and secured on the cabinet, then the handle is inserted into the operation shaft located at the top of the mechanism, rotating it clockwise about 90°. The mechanism's coiled double spring is compressed to store energy. Press the closing button, and the stored energy in the closing spring is released, allowing the main circuit of the load switch to close under the mechanism's released power. Electric Closing: The mechanism sends a closing signal, and the controller automatically identifies the opening and closing positions of the load switch and the status of each interlock circuit. Once the circuit conditions are suitable for closing, the controller activates the closing solenoid to release energy, achieving an instantaneous closure of the main circuit of the load switch.

Circuit Breaker Operation:

Manual Disconnect: Upon releasing the technical disconnect button, the power is released to push the load switch, completing the main circuit disconnection. For electric disconnect, a disconnection signal is provided. The controller automatically identifies the position of the load switch and the status of each interlock circuit. If all circuits meet the conditions for disconnection, the controller automatically activates the disconnect solenoid to release power, achieving the main circuit disconnection of the load switch. The mechanism can perform main circuit closing or grounding closing operations when in the disconnection state.

Grounding and circuit breaking/switching operations:

Grounding Closing: Insert the mechanism handle into the grounding operation shaft at the bottom of the mechanism, and rotate it clockwise approximately 90°. The grounding energy accumulator releases its energy instantaneously at the midpoint of compression, pushing the grounding switch to complete the grounding closing. At this point, the mechanism interlock is locked, preventing the main circuit from being closed.
Grounding Disconnect: Insert the mechanism handle into the grounding operation shaft at the bottom of the mechanism, rotate counterclockwise approximately 90 degrees. The grounding energy accumulator is released instantaneously when it reaches the midpoint of compression, pushing the grounding switch to complete the grounding disconnect. At this point, the mechanism interlock is in the open position, allowing for closing and opening operations of the load switch.
