The KJG-01 series is a new generation of hard interlock mechanism developed to meet the five prevention requirements for power operation equipment. Unlike conventional mechanisms that use pull-string interlocks and soft structures for cabinet door opening and closing, this product employs a mechanical locking rod hard interlock method to force the cabinet door to be interlocked. The locking rod directly interlocks with the grounding operation shaft, and the locking rod must be reliably grounded in the main circuit before it can be pulled out of the cabinet door lock hole. This effectively ensures the safety and reliability of the door operation to prevent errors. (When the customer selects this single locking rod hard interlock solution, the door must be designed as a hook-type upward pull door or other self-locking design. When the grounding switch is in the closed position, the hard interlock rod is pulled out of the door lock hole. At this point, the door remains closed, and it is necessary to pull the door upward to disengage the hook before the door can be opened. Note: This is a general solution, and the customer can design other solutions according to their own requirements).
User Operation Instructions
Circuit Closing Operation:
The mechanism is installed and secured in the cabinet. Insert the mechanism handle into the operating shaft located at the top of the mechanism, rotate the handle clockwise approximately 90°. As the mechanism's coiled spring builds tension towards the release point, it automatically releases energy, propelling the disconnect switch to close. In the closed position, due to the anti-misoperation interlock, grounding the switch will not be operable.
Isolation Switch Operation:
Insert the handle sleeve onto the operating shaft located at the top of the mechanism. Rotate the handle counterclockwise by approximately 90°. When the mechanism's coiled spring is fully retracted, it will automatically release energy. This release of energy drives the isolating switch to complete the disconnection action.
Grounding and Switching:
Grounding Closure: When the mechanism is in the open position, insert the handle into the grounding operation shaft at the bottom of the mechanism, rotate clockwise approximately 90°. The grounding energy storage spring releases its energy instantly as it passes the midpoint, pushing the grounding switch to complete the grounding closure. At this point, the mechanism interlock is engaged, preventing the main circuit closure.
Grounding Disconnect: Insert the mechanism handle into the grounding operation shaft at the bottom of the mechanism, rotate counterclockwise approximately 90°. The grounding energy storage spring releases its energy instantly when it reaches the midpoint, pushing the grounding switch to complete the grounding disconnect. At this point, the mechanism interlock is in the open position, allowing operations for closing and opening the main circuit.
