The KJG-01 series is a new-generation hard interlock mechanism developed to meet the five-protection requirements for electrical operation equipment. Unlike conventional mechanisms that use pull-cord interlocks and soft structures for the cabinet's lower door operation, this product employs a mechanical lock rod hard interlock method for the cabinet's lower door. The lower door lock rod is directly linked to the grounding operation shaft, and the lock rod must be securely grounded in the main circuit before it can be removed from the lower door lock hole. This effectively ensures the safety and reliability of the lower door operation against errors. (When customers choose this single lock rod hard interlock solution, the lower door must be designed as a hook-type upward pull door or another self-locking design. When the grounding switch is in the closed position, the hard interlock rod is removed from the lower door lock hole. At this point, the lower door remains closed, and it must be pulled up to release the hook to open the door. Note: This is a general solution; customers can design other solutions according to their own requirements.)
User Operation Instructions
Closing operation:
The mechanism is installed and secured in the cabinet. Insert the handle into the operating shaft located at the top of the mechanism, rotate the handle clockwise approximately 90°. As the mechanism's coiled spring is positively loaded to the release point, it automatically releases energy, which then drives the disconnect switch to complete the closing action. In the closed position, the anti-misoperation interlock prevents operation of the grounding close.
Circuit breaker operation:
Insert the handle sleeve over the operating shaft at the top of the mechanism, turn the handle counterclockwise approximately 90°. When the coiled spring in the mechanism reverses and reaches the energy release point, it automatically releases energy, propelling the disconnect switch to complete the separation action.
Grounding, Closing, and Opening Contacts:
Grounding Closure: Insert the handle into the grounding operation shaft at the bottom of the mechanism when the mechanism is in the disengaged state, and rotate it clockwise approximately 90°. As the grounding energy storage spring reaches the midpoint of its positive energy storage, it releases its energy instantly to push the grounding switch into the grounded position. At this point, the mechanism is locked, preventing the main circuit from being closed.
Grounding Disconnect: Insert the mechanism handle into the grounding operation shaft at the bottom of the mechanism, rotate counterclockwise approximately 90°. The grounding energy storage spring releases energy instantaneously when passing the midpoint, pushing the grounding switch to complete the grounding disconnect. At this point, the mechanism interlock is in the open position, allowing for closing and opening operations on the main circuit.
