The KJIF-01 series manual operation mechanism is a matching equipment for the operation of load switches in the inflation-type high-voltage ring main units. This series employs flat spiral spring energy storage to control the closing and opening actions of the load switches, and uses compressed spring energy storage to control the closing and opening actions of the earthing switches. It features three operating positions: closing, opening, and grounding. The series comes with a five-protection interlock function.
The KJFDS-01 hand-coupled electrical disconnector mechanism is an addition to the KJF-12 manual disconnector mechanism, featuring an electrically operated disconnector solenoid. Users can power the solenoid locally or remotely to achieve the electric disconnection action.
This series of products is factory-certified after full inspection and meets the technical requirements of GB 3804-2004 "AC High Voltage Load Break Switches 3.6KV-40.5KV", GB 3906-2006 "AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear and Control Equipment 3.6KV-40.5KV", and "High Voltage AC Load Break Switch-Fuse Combination Appliances".
User Operation Instructions
Manual closing operation:
The mechanism is installed and fixed on the cabinet. Insert the handle of the mechanism into the operating shaft located on the upper part of the mechanism, rotate the handle clockwise by approximately 90°. The mechanism's coiled double spring is compressed, storing energy. Press the closing button to release the stored energy in the closing spring. Under the power of the mechanism, the main circuit of the load switch completes the closing operation.
Electrical circuit breaker operation:
By energizing the circuit breaker solenoid winding in the closed position, the hand-tight electrical disconnect can be achieved instantly through electric operation.
Grounding, Closing and Opening Switches:
Grounding Close: Insert the mechanism handle into the grounding operation shaft at the bottom of the mechanism, rotate clockwise approximately 90°. The grounding energy storage spring releases its energy instantly when compressed past the midpoint, pushing the grounding switch to complete the grounding close. At this point, the mechanism interlock locks, preventing the main circuit from being closed.
Grounding Disconnect: Insert the mechanism handle into the grounding operation shaft at the bottom of the mechanism, rotate counterclockwise approximately 90°. The grounding energy storage spring releases its energy instantaneously as it compresses past the midpoint, pushing the grounding switch to disconnect. At this point, the mechanism interlock is in the open position, allowing for operation of the load switch's closing and opening.
