Cooling towers come with their own reservoir, large in capacity, so there's no need for excavation of a separate pond. Scaling and cleaning effluent is easy and straightforward. Fewer fragile parts mean maintenance is convenient.

Use and maintenance


KHLT Type Cross-Flow Cooling Tower - Use and Maintenance

▲Prior to startup, clean the in and out water pipes and the sink, check if the fasteners on the transmission parts are secure and if the impeller moves freely. Inspect if the transmission joints are safe.


▲The fan rotates clockwise, and a reduced-voltage start is required upon activation. Check if the motor's current, voltage, and vibration are normal.


▲After the synchronous belt-driven reduction fan has been operating for a period of time, the tension should be readjusted.


▲Once the fan operates normally, start the circulating pump. Close the tower outlet valve first, then open it once the water basin's water level reaches the mark, and return to normal operation. Maintain a consistent water level during operation.


▲ Water quality entering the tower must be oil and impurity-free, with turbidity ≤ 5 mg/kg; otherwise, water treatment and purification equipment must be provided.


▲Perform annual maintenance on the equipment, cleaning the sink of any debris. Regularly adjust the belt tension. Clean the inside of the packing shell of any dirt promptly; typically, a cleaning is done once a year.
