What are the two modes of the pipe electric heater?

Pipe electric heaters are available in two modes: one involves inserting the flanged tubular electric heating elements from the inside of the pipe heater into the jacket of the reactor inside the pipe heater to heat the heat-conducting oil, transferring the heat energy from the pipe heater to the chemical raw materials inside the reactor. The other mode directly inserts the tubular electric heating elements into the reactor within the pipe heater or distributes electric heating pipes uniformly around the walls of the pipe heater. This mode is called the internal heating mode of the pipe heater. The internal heating mode of the pipe heater heats up quickly and efficiently.



Explosion-proof electric heaters find application in the plastic industry. These electric heating elements, produced with modern technology, are suitable for various plastic, chemical, and fiber machinery, as well as food packaging, wire, and cable machinery. They also complement heating electrical equipment and electric heating accessories for applications such as hot air ducts and oil pipelines.

The Metal Electric Heater Calculating Series is divided into three main categories based on the basic design and insulating medium.

The Metal Mica Heater is a heating element made of high-temperature nickel-alloys 2080 as the heating filament. It is insulated and wound using natural or artificial mica boards. The outer layer is made of different metal sheets according to customer requirements, forming a heating coil, plate, and various shapes of heaters through mechanical processing. The surface load should be within 2.5~3W/cm2. Customers should use an automatic temperature control system to ensure the longevity of the heater, based on the desired heating temperature.

B. Electrically heated metal casting heaters: Utilizing metal tubular electric heating elements as the heating source. According to the specifications and shapes of the heating bodies required by the users, they are bent and shaped, then cast into various shapes of cast aluminum, cast copper, and cast iron heating bodies through mold casting. This product is currently an ideal heating solution in the plastic industry. It features rapid temperature rise, even heating, good thermal conductivity, and a long service life. The surface load for the casting heater under normal operating power is 2.5~3.5 W/cm². For cast copper and cast iron heaters, the surface load under normal operating power is 4.0~6.0 W/cm². Special specifications can be processed according to the user's drawings.

C. Tubular Electric Heating Elements (Metal Tubular Heaters): Metal tubular heaters are constructed with metal shells (titanium steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, etc.) and utilize nickel-alloy heating wires spiraling along the center of the tube. The voltage, power, and resistance are set according to the requirements of the heater. They are filled with high-purity magnesium oxide tubes and magnesium powder, which have good insulation and thermal conductivity, evenly distributed in the tube gaps. These heaters are used in a series of electric heating equipment such as shrink tube furnaces, hot spot furnaces, drying equipment, heat pressing, food machinery, barbecue, and household appliances. The surface normal load is 4.0~8.0 W/cm².
