During the elbow installation process, prevent groundwater and rainwater from seeping in. If the joint accidentally gets wet, it should be dried before welding the elbow.
2. Polyurethane buried thermal insulation pipe elbows are categorized into finished elbows and base elbows. All finished elbows are pre-treated with thermal insulation and corrosion protection before shipment. When welding these elbows, direct contact with the flame should be avoided to prevent damage to the insulation and corrosion protection layers. Base elbows can be welded directly and then treated with thermal insulation and corrosion protection. Typically, professional technicians are hired to apply the corrosion and thermal insulation layers after welding.
After the elbows and interfaces are welded, the pipeline should be pressure tested to ensure the sealing integrity of all weld joints.
4. After the solder joint sealing test, anti-corrosion treatment is conducted. Since most polyurethane insulated pipes are buried underground upon completion, this ensures their resistance to corrosion and thermal insulation properties.
