The Tower Crane Black Box, also known as the "Tower Crane Safety Monitoring and Management System," or the "Global Information Collection System," enables comprehensive information collection throughout the entire lifecycle of tower cranes, multi-dimensional health diagnostics (including structural damage and others), and global risk assessment. Utilizing technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence, it ensures the safe operation of tower cranes.

During operation, the tower crane's various monitoring devices continuously track its dynamic data, such as rotation, torque, amplitude, weight, and height. This data is then transmitted to the "black box" for storage and aggregation. In the event the crane exceeds its rated values, an alarm is triggered. The data is also sent to the cloud, where it is analyzed and predicted to provide early warning for safety.

In addition to monitoring and issuing warnings for data related to tower cranes themselves, signals and monitoring system data between tower cranes are also interconnected. When a tower crane enters a dangerous area, it cuts off the positive power to achieve deceleration before stopping inertial movement, timely preventing accidents from occurring.
