Container Shipping Booking and Precautions
1. When customers book shipping space for export, they should fill out the booking export entrustment form accordingly and send the completed shipping instruction via fax or email to the freight forwarding company. The shipping instruction must include the following details: a. Shipper (SHIPPER) b. Consignee (CONSIGNEE) c. Notify Party (NOTIFY PARTY) d. Port of Origin e. Destination Port f. Type and Quantity of Containers g. Number of Pieces, Gross Weight, and Volume h. Freight Terms (Prepaid, Collect, or Three-Party Payment) i. Description of Goods (if hazardous, indicate the danger level and relevant precautions; if a reefer container, specify the freezing temperature) j. Shipping Company or Non-Vessel Operating Carrier k. Other Requirements
2. If you have a negotiated rate with a shipping line or a non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC), please also fax the shipping line's rate confirmation (if no confirmation from the shipping line is provided, the rate is invalid).
3. If you require freight forwarding services and need to arrange for container transportation and customs clearance, please provide the loading time, address, and contact person for the container, so we can arrange for the truck to pick up the container.
4. When freight forwarders accept your委托 to book cargo space, they will inform you in advance if any requirements cannot be met.
The customs closing date is the morning before the ship departs, with all containers completed and in the port area.
8. The freight forwarder will fax the bill of lading confirmation to your company one day before the shipment. If the bill of lading is prepared by the shipping company, the freight forwarder will immediately fax it to you upon receiving the shipping company's confirmation.
The freight forwarding company will return the goods to you promptly.
As previously agreed, settled the fees with the freight forwarder to collect the bill of lading.
