According to the "Construction Quality Acceptance Code for Water Supply, Drainage, and Heating Engineering" of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China, Article 5.2.4, in high-rise buildings, exposed drainage plastic pipelines should be installed with fire rings or fire sleeves as per design requirements. According to the "Technical Code for Plastic Drainage Pipeline Engineering" (CJJ/T29-2010) of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China, effective from October 1, 2011, when the pipe diameter is equal to or greater than 110MM, fire rings should be installed at the following locations in plastic drainage pipelines laid in the interior of high-rise buildings: 1. The outer side of the penetration section of cross pipes crossing the walls of pipeline wells or protective walls. 4.
