For semi-automatic wet magnetic particle inspection equipment controlled by microcomputers, suitable for magnetic particle inspection of annular ferromagnetic parts such as flanges and similar shapes. It uses a programmable logic controller (PLC) as its core, controlling the mechanical movement program of the system and can complete all the magnetic particle inspection processes according to the prescribed program, except for the manual observation of defects. It can be operated automatically or manually in single steps. Circumferential magnetization is achieved using the rod passing method, while longitudinal magnetization uses the coil induction method to perform alternating current composite magnetization on the workpiece, thereby preventing the workpiece from being overheated. The controllable silicon trigger system developed by our factory has the function of controlling the power-off phase, avoiding the failure to detect during alternating current magnetization, thus enabling a single magnetization to detect extremely minute defects such as cracks and inclusions on the surface and inside of the workpiece caused by material, forging, quenching, grinding, and fatigue.
