What are the standards for hot-dip galvanized steel platforms? Jiangsu Zhen Tai Metal provides a description from the aspects of technical requirements and testing methods.
Skill Requirements:
Material Requirements:
The galvanized steel ladder plank is made of 1.5mm thick Q235B steel plate, and the material and production must comply with the national standard GB15831-2006 for steel tube scaffolding couplings.
2. Quality Requirements:
The galvanized steel plank has dimensions of 2000mm-4000mm in length, 240mm in width, and 65mm in height. The hot-dip galvanized steel plank features a W-shaped steel structure on both sides (high-strength W-beam), with raised holes on the surface, equipped with flanges (anti-slip), and double rows of reinforced ribs pressed on both sides near the W-beam (W-beam edge). The double-row stiffeners form two inverted triangular grooves on the surface of the scaffold steel plank, located below the main plate. The number of embedded reinforced ribs should be: a 4m steel plank should have 5 ribs.
b. Zinc-coated steel plank lengths must not exceed a tolerance of +3.0mm, widths must not exceed +2.0mm, and hole flange height tolerance must not exceed +0.5mm. Anti-slip hole diameter is 12mm x 18mm, hole spacing is 30mm x 40mm, and the flange height is 1.5mm.
The bending angle of hot-dip galvanized steel platforms should be maintained at 90°, with no deviation exceeding +2°.
d. Hot-dip galvanized steel ladder surfaces should be flat, with surface deflection not exceeding 3.0mm. During welding, damage to the base material should be avoided, ensuring zinc coating quality, controlling deformation, and prohibiting false welding and open joints.
e. End plate flanges and intermittent ribs should be welded with reinforced spot welding. The weld seams should be kept flat, with the gap x being less than 1.5mm (based on the provided template, not to exceed).
