Level 1 Inspection:

(1) The foundation should be solid, level, free of rough surfaces, scaling, and hollowing. Its flatness is checked using a 2-meter ruler, with a slope not exceeding 5mm.

(2) The junction between the subgrade and parapet walls, or any projecting flat structures, should be finished with a curved or obtuse angle, with a radius of 100mm to 150mm.

(3) The subgrade drainage slope meets the design requirements. The roof附属 equipment such as pipes should be installed first. The roof gutter slope should not be less than 5‰, and the surrounding area of the water outlet should be formed into a slightly lower depression.

(4) The base layer must be dry. The method for detecting its moisture content is as follows: Take a 1m² roll of material and lay it flat on the leveling layer. After allowing it to sit for 3-4 hours, uncover and inspect it. If there are no water stains on the leveling layer and the roll, it is ready for the laying of the material.

Part II: Construction Preparation:

Tool Preparation: Broom, bucket, box ruler, scissors, spray gun, liquefied gas.

(2) Material Preparation: Modified asphalt waterproof membranes, adhesive. Their quality should meet the relevant quality standard requirements.

III. Construction Process:

Foundation Cleaning - Detail Treatment - Self-Inspection - Apply Adhesive - Lay Felt - Paste Rolled Materials - Self-Inspection - Water Retention Test, Quality Acceptance

Four: Foundation Cleaning: Clean the approved foundation thoroughly and remove any obstructions.

V. Base Adhesive Treatment:

Ensure the adhesive is fully applied to the required base surface. During application, the adhesive must be evenly spread, and a full layer of adhesive should be applied to areas such as downspouts and pipes.

Section 6: Roll Material Installation

(1) The laying direction is determined by the roof slope. When the slope is 3% or less, the membranes should be laid parallel to the ridge; for slopes between 3% and 5%, the membranes can be laid either parallel or perpendicular to the ridge; and for slopes greater than 15%, they must be laid perpendicular to the ridge.

(2) After selecting the laying method, perform a trial laying of the rolled material, commonly referred to as "laying felt." Pay attention to overlapping the short and long edges; the long edge overlap should be ≥5cm, and the short edge overlap should be ≥10cm. When working on the same plane, determine the area of one laying felt based on the construction personnel and progress, then roll the felt for easy adhesive application.

Section 7: Paste Rolls

1) The felt has been laid, collected, and the adhesive has been fully applied to the sub-layer.

2) Apply heat-melt adhesive to the rolled materials using a liquefied gas torch on the waterproofing layer, ensuring moderate flame to fully melt the surface of the rolls. As you spray and apply the adhesive, roll it to expel air from within the rolls, ensuring a good bond between them.

3) Joining Treatment: Apply adhesive with a scraper at the overlap of the rolls and seal the edges.

4) The joints inside the parapet concave grooves, overflow openings, and protruding roof structures are all sealed with adhesive.
