Wiring type selection
Two-wire system: The two-wire ultrasonic level gauge shares a single loop for both power supply (only DC24V) and signal output (DC4-20mA), requiring only two wires, which is a standard transmitter configuration.
Three-wire System: The three-wire ultrasonic level gauge is actually a four-wire system. Its power supply (only DC24V) and signal output (DC4-20mA) circuits are separated, each using two wires. When the negative terminals are grounded together, three wires are typically sufficient. The advantage is that it has a higher transmission power.
Four-wire system: Power supply (DC24V or AC220V) and signal output (DC4-20mA) circuits are separated, using two wires. The advantage is that it has a higher transmission power and also provides high and low relay outputs, adding new features.
