Insertable Level Gauge

The (current type) insertion level gauge, based on the WCY-UR, converts resistance signals into a corresponding 4~20mA DC current signal output through a transmitter module. When paired with our WCY-503 digital indicator, or a DCS or PLC system, it enables remote level detection, control, and alarm.

Section 3: Structural Diagram (Rack-mounted)

Note: For mounted installations, the location should be as far away from the inlet and outlet as possible, and must be installed vertically.

Four: Adjustment

The product has been pre-adjusted before shipment. In case of any deviation, please follow the steps below for adjustment:
• Connect a multimeter in series to the negative terminal of the module wiring strip, and adjust the multimeter to the milliampere range.
•  Determine the sensor's zero and full-scale positions. (Based on the centerline of the sphere.)
• Place the float ball at the zero position, the multimeter should display 4mA. If there is an offset, adjust the zero potentiometer until the multimeter shows 4mA; similarly, position the float ball at the full scale, and the multimeter should display 20mA. If there's an offset of 20mA, adjust the full scale potentiometer until the multimeter shows 20mA. Repeat these steps several times until the reading is normal 4-20mA, and the adjustment is complete.
