The working principle of the magnetostrictive level sensor: An initial pulse is generated by the electronic chamber's electronic circuit. As this pulse transmits through the waveguide wire, it simultaneously produces a rotating magnetic field traveling along the waveguide wire. When this magnetic field encounters the permanent magnetic field in a magnetic ring or float ball, a magnetostrictive effect is generated, causing the waveguide wire to twist. This twist is detected and converted into a corresponding current pulse by the pickup mechanism installed within the electronic chamber. By calculating the time difference between the two pulses through the electronic circuit, the precise displacement and liquid level of the measured object can be determined.
