Synergistic mechanism of alloy composition
AZM's core competitive advantage lies in its meticulously designed alloy composition system: 53% aluminum, 43% zinc, 2% magnesium, and trace amounts of silicon, which creates a multi-layered protective mechanism. The aluminum forms a dense aluminum oxide passivation layer on the steel plate surface, effectively blocking the penetration of oxygen and moisture; the zinc, as the sacrificial anode, corrodes first to protect the base material; the addition of magnesium enhances the entire protective system—when it reacts with water, it generates magnesium oxide colloids that automatically fill in coating cracks and form a protective film at the cut surface. Experimental data shows that in salt spray tests, the corrosion rate of AZM is only 1/20 of galvanized steel plates, and the appearance time of red rust at the cut is delayed significantly. This "active defense + self-repair" dual mechanism enables AZM to excel in high-corrosion environments such as coastal power stations and livestock breeding farms, significantly reducing the total lifecycle maintenance costs.
