AZM's industrial application delivers significant environmental benefits: Compared to traditional galvanizing processes, it reduces zinc consumption by 40%, wastewater discharge by 65%, and carbon dioxide emission intensity by 30%. Calculating with a 500,000-ton annual production line of AZM, it can reduce zinc mining by 12,000 tons, save 24,000 tons of standard coal, which is equivalent to afforestation of 12,000 hectares. Additionally, AZM's ultra-long lifespan reduces material replacement frequency, further lowering the carbon emissions throughout the product lifecycle. The Evaluation Report by the China Iron and Steel Association indicates that if AZM materials are fully adopted in the construction of steel structures nationwide, it can reduce carbon emissions by over ten million tons annually, providing significant support for the "Dual Carbon" goal.
