The busway cabinet provides power to the equipment in the data center, including power distribution and protection functions. Generally, it is categorized into three types based on the power nature: AC busway cabinet, low-voltage DC busway cabinet, and high-voltage DC busway cabinet. The busway cabinet is placed at the front of each row of cabinets in the data center, responsible for the power distribution to all rear cabinets and the air conditioning units between rows.
