Blowpipe muffler, also known as blowpipe silencer or blow cleaning muffler, is a product developed by our company to suppress the noise generated during pipeline blowing operations.
Baffled mufflers can be considered as a component of the pipeline, which, after acoustic processing inside, can reduce the generation and transmission of noise. The design of steam pipe mufflers should not solely focus on noise reduction effects. First and foremost, they must meet the requirements of steam pipes, ensuring high flow rates, low resistance, and high momentum. Subsequently, noise reduction can be achieved through techniques such as pressure reduction, throttling, expansion, and frequency shifting.
Boiler blowdown is a quick and easy method to eliminate debris left over from pipeline construction projects: The process generates a tremendous noise of about 130-150dB. The Zhourui blowdown silencer can reduce the generation and transmission of noise, resulting in a noise attenuation of over 30-40 decibels (A-weighted) at the outlet, which corresponds to a reduction in loudness by over 60%, creating a noticeable effect subjectively. I. Product Overview
With the rapid development of the power industry and the increasing capacity of power units, it is essential to blow the main steam pipes and superheaters before the installation and operation of thermal power units. This ensures the safe and economic operation of the units. The blowing process removes large amounts of rust, slag, ferric oxide, and other debris from the pipes, which are then safely collected and discharged after being flushed multiple times by the high-temperature gas flow. During the blowing process, a powerful jet of steam is ejected from the pipe ends, generating noise levels above 160 dB(A) due to the impact and shearing of the surrounding air by the gas flow. This noise significantly disrupts the normal lives and health of residents within several square kilometers and causes environmental pollution. Additionally, the debris carried away by the gas flow poses a threat to both human and equipment safety. To address these issues and achieve the functions of noise reduction and debris collection, our company, after years of practical research, has specially developed the XG type boiler blowing muffler.
