Air conditioner ventilation outlets refer to the exhaust ports of the indoor air conditioner unit, which can be mounted on the wall of the unit or placed directly outside it. They are used to expel hot air from within the unit to lower the indoor temperature, and also to introduce fresh outdoor air into the room.

Common types of air conditioning ventilation outlets include double louvre grilles and gravity louvre grilles. Double louvre grilles feature two adjustable blades that can change the angle of the air flow. The shorter blades are used to adjust the dispersion angle of the air flow and can also redirect the air flow. By adjusting the longer blades, the air flow can be made to adhere to the ceiling or tilt at a certain angle (when heating). Gravity louvre grilles rely on the natural downward slope of the grille louvers to isolate indoor-outdoor air exchange. When the indoor air pressure is lower than the outdoor, the air flow will blow the louvers open to exhaust outward, while outdoor air cannot enter the room.

When selecting an air conditioning vent type, consider both the actual situation and personal preference. Besides the vent type, factors such as size, placement, orientation, filter installation, and air distribution method should also be taken into account.
