We select air separation argon and distill liquid air to obtain argon. We extract crude argon and further purify it to achieve high purity argon.
High-purity argon is used as a maintenance gas in the semiconductor industry for producing high-purity silicon and germanium crystals; it can serve as an inert gas for system cleaning, shielding, and pressurization; and it is employed in chemical vapor deposition, sputtering, and annealing processes.
High-purity argon can also be used as a chromatography carrier gas. Argon is widely employed for filling arc lamps, fluorescent lamps, and tubes; as a shielding gas for welding; and as a protective gas in the manufacturing of titanium, cobalt, and other reactive metals, as well as in the processing of special steel in iron and steel metallurgy.
