Aluminum-plastic composite tape is a new type of self-adhesive composite tape. Its outer composite film is made of EMAA material, which possesses excellent heat-sealability, resulting in a lower initial bonding temperature and higher heat-seal bonding performance compared to standard polyethylene (PE) composite tapes. Using this type of tape can significantly reduce the working temperature and airflow of hot air guns in the longitudinal wrapping process of communication cables and optical fibers, with the hot air gun temperature needing only 80-90°C. It may even eliminate the need for a hot air gun altogether; the extruder head's own temperature is sufficient to achieve excellent bonding at the longitudinal overlap of the composite tape, simplifying and facilitating the cable manufacturing process and greatly enhancing product quality.
