The occurrence of foundation engineering accidents is mainly due to improper surveying, design, construction, or changes in the operating environment. After the instability of the foundation is observed, it is necessary to promptly reinforce and correct the outdoor billboard foundation. Be prepared to conduct the following investigations:
(1) Investigate the soil and hydrological conditions of the foundation location area.
(2) Review original documents to understand the foundation form and load-bearing conditions of the billboard, as well as its design load capacity.
Inspect the quality of construction materials used during billboard installation, the weather conditions during the construction period, and the overall construction quality of the billboard.
(4) Investigate changes in the surrounding environment during the use of billboards, such as the construction of municipal facilities, the commencement of nearby building projects, fluctuations in groundwater levels, and changes in ground drainage systems. Understanding the root cause of instability in the foundation of outdoor billboards enables the development of effective reinforcement and correction measures.
